"Stoat | Sipaahee are the musical monikers of Lucknow based Audio Visual artist, Anshuman Arya.

Meaning "Soldier" in Hindi, Sipaahee's music is innately influenced and inspired by his early years growing up in the military life, amalgamating into a sense of distorted nostalgia mixed with laidback urgency, where new faces/spaces/places, travel, and moving home, were a constant.

It was decided very early in his life, that home is where the heart is. He cannot thank his parents enough for the diverse and colorful experiences and homes he has been granted, never taken for granted.

He then went on from playing guitar and singing for college rock bands (poorly), in Bangalore, (while studying genetics and dropping out) to studying Audio Engineering in the UK; picking up on, and honing his visual expression, along the way.

He has since evolved tremendously as one should. Now he spends a lot of his time exploring the self through various mediums and finds himself finding more ground to cover than ever, and that excites the fire in his belly again.

As of 2024, Sipaahee has been communicating once more from his prison in an alternate dimension and has been in contact with the hive mind of humanity that is GPT and Diffusion based AI models to signal with. Look out for posts from the last post in the lost past of the Multiverse, as Neotic Transmissions. A new era beckons!

Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I believe in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

In the past, I have co-founded and led the Post Production for our very own Flowmo Picture Company, along with Rounak Modha and Kirandeep Kaur. We've done something just to the tune of our common beliefs and passions, by creating a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Due to unforseen and forseen circumstances Flowmo ended its union in 2022 finally after a memorable and exciting journey marred with a lot of frustration and despair as well. But hey, we try and remember and cherish the GOOD STUFF.

I am now full time back into a musical phase as of 2023 end. And have a lot of exciting things brewing with Lucknow Music Bastion and Woodland Creatures, Berlin. Godspeed All!
